The Piper Theater has returned this summer with free theatre for Brooklyn families! 

The Piper Theater is a free, high-quality summer theatre that has been serving Brooklyn for the past decade. Piper creates opportunities for emerging artists and serves as an exciting educational program for children. 

This month, The Piper Theater is bringing The Nocturnes, written by John Connelly and directed by Nigel Williams to Park Slope. The story entails a dark summer night with tales of lost lovers, witches, and demons. Throughout July, Piper will also be putting on youth productions that are fun for the whole family, including adaptations of Little Shop of Horrors, The Taming of the Shrew and As You Like It.

 

When: The Nocturnes, July 15, 16, 21, and 22, at 8:30 p.m.

  • July 28 at 6 p.m. Writers’ Celebration; 8:30 p.m. Piper Film Festival
  • July 29 at 6 p.m. Peer Gynt; 8 p.m. The Taming of the Shrew
  • July 30 at 9:30 a.m. The Starlings/The Taming of the Shrew; 6 p.m. The Pink Panther; 8 p.m. The Very Bad Girl Scouts
