At my request, the City Council’s Land Use Division, in consultation with the Land Use staff in Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams’ Office, prepared a detailed analysis of the existing zoning at the LICH site as well as what is allowed “as-of-right.”

You will see the existing zoning produces a wide spectrum of “allowable” development scenarios, which could include 542,000 square feet of residential housing, in very tall buildings. Their presentation is below:
