This weekend: Your final chance to vote in PBNYC

This weekend is your final chance to vote in Participatory Budgeting (PBNYC)! It really is not complete without your vote.

If you haven’t voted already, I hope you'll visit one of the locations below, on Saturday and Sunday from 10-6 to cast your vote. Remember that any resident of Council District 39, age 14 or older, can vote in PBNYC (you don’t need to be registered to vote in regular elections).

If you've already voted, forward this e-mail to a few friends ... we'd love to get as many people as we possibly can out to vote this weekend.

You get the chance to vote on two ballots this year: you can vote for up-to-5 projects on the traditional “capital projects” ballot, and also up-to-3 projects on the new “programming” ballot. If you have a minute, take a look at the projects online before you go to vote and watch the project videos. You’ll get a lot more information, and it will make voting quicker.

But even if you don’t have time to look at the projects first, please come out to vote. Last year, more than 3,000 people in our district (and 50,000 citywide) voted in PBNYC. This year, we are hoping for even more. We really would like to include your vote in the process.
