A calm, prepared, compassionate NYC

As you know, on Thursday night, Dr. Craig Spencer – who had traveled to Guinea with Doctors without Borders to help address the Ebola crisis there – was diagnosed with the Ebola virus.

I want to reassure you: New York City is prepared. Our local hospital and health care providers are prepared. And there is very little risk to you and your family.

I’ve been proud of how calm and prepared NYC has been. I hope you’ll join me in making sure we keep it that way (and also that we support organizations confronting the Ebola crisis in West Africa). Read more »
