The installation of irrigation and “cold frame” winterizingsystems in this school garden to facilitate water conservationand year-round gardening.

PS 133’s Garden of Wonder is of potential benefit to all its nearly 800students, staff and the surrounding community. It provides opportunities forhands-on learning about ecosystems, biology and environmental science.

Project Description:
An irrigation system would facilitate water conservation and allow focus onplanting, weeding and garden maintenance. The cold frames would extendthe growing season, increasing food production & school engagement.
